SaskPower has confirmed a fifth meter fire in the span of a week.
The latest fire happened in the northwest end of Regina and was due to ground shifting.
SaskPower has inspected hundreds of homes and continues to do so, specifically in the Glencairn, Uplands, and Normanview neighbourhoods.
SaskPower said the issue seems to be affecting older homes in these areas and encourages homeowners to be vigilant and call them if they see an issue.
