Regina police are investigating a home invasion that took place Saturday afternoon in the Walsh Acres neighbourhood.
Officers were called to a home in the 700 block of McIntosh Street North, near St. Bernadette School, at around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a home invasion.
A man at the scene told police that two male suspects forced their way into his home and tied him up.
The suspects would proceed to go through the victim’s home looking for property to steal.
The victim was able to escape and run to a neighbours home where he called police.
A number of personal items were stolen from the victim, including his work truck.
The truck is a 2010 GMC Sierra with blue flames on it and the word “Bison.” It’s also missing a tail-gate and has a Saskatchewan license plate: 647 IGM.
Police are investigating.
