Balgonie Fire Chief Doug Lapchuk told 980 CJME the semi driver was transported by ambulance to a Regina hospital with unknown injuries.
Lapchuk added traffic restrictions in the area would remain in effect for several hours.
“We have a semi blocking most of the passing lane. Regretfully, the trailer is going to have to be unloaded before the semi can be uprighted,” he said.
Lapchuk asked drivers heading in that direction to slow down for the safety of his crews.
“Please respect our traffic zones and slow down,” he said. “We’ve already had two near-misses today and I don’t want any more.”
